This one should be interesting.

Donald Trump is feeling higher than the skyscrapers he’s built as a new poll shows him with a commanding lead in the Republican primary field.
A CNN/ORC poll shows the real estate mogul with 36 percent support, leading the closest competitor, Senator Ted Cruz by 20 points.
Dr. Ben Carson fell 8 points to 14 percent; Florida Senator Marco Rubio drew 12 percent and the rest of the field lied below 5 percent, including Jeb Bush at 3 percent.

What I formerly called the 'conservative death wish' I must now recognize as, to varying degrees, universal.

Either the polls are way off or America is sinking to a new low.

He has had two bumps recently from tragedies and his rhetoric plays to his audience. Let's see if he shows up at the next debate.

Top Jeb Bush political donor in Miami: I’ll vote for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump
Quote:
“My frustration is really with that sector of Republican voters that are so blinded by the demagoguery” of Trump, Fernandez said. “I know the campaign — or any other campaign — is not going to say it.... This is not about Jeb. This is about us. This is about the voter.”

Trump crosses another line:
Read and ponder this passage from CBS news:
Quote:
Saira Khan, the sister of San Bernardino shooter Syed Farook, told CBS News in an interview broadcast Friday that she could not fathom the possibility that her brother and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, would commit mass murder.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says he's not buying it.
"I probably don't believe the sister," Trump declared in an interview with "Face the Nation" set to air Sunday.
"So you would go after her?" host John Dickerson asked Trump.
"I would go after a lot of people and find out whether or not they knew. I'd be able to find out. Cause I don't believe the sister," he replied.
When Dickerson asked Trump whether he's worried about the possibility of creating more terrorists, Trump replied with a quick "No."
"We have to stop terrorists," Trump explained. "And the only way we're going to stop them, in my opinion, is that way. You know, they say they don't mind dying. I think they do mind dying. But I can tell you this. They want their families left alone. We have to stop terrorism."

Trump wants to go after the families. He'll be able to 'find out,' because he's already endorsed waterboarding. And he's also making comments about whether people 'mind dying?' He's not quite dancing naked here, but the veils are really thin....
The Trump is talking about torturing and executing hostages.

Trump is the beast that lives in all of us. He will go up in the polls as a result of this.

The Republicans made a Faustian bargain with the Devil.
You don't get to back out of a contract like that.
