Brian's being here has helped a lot and friends phoning with offers of help. Having been through this in a sense with booth parents and three siblings I know the ache does not last forever, but at the moment the wound is too fresh. So like Robert the Bruce I will lie me down and bleed a while, then I will rise and fight again.

Her ashes came along with the death certificates. I had planned on using a delicately patterned ginger jar as her funerary urn but it was not big enough. I found this one in pewter and they are going to engrave it for me.
She will be back home and at my side again.

John the urn arrived today and it is as beautiful a piece of workmanship as you could want, very solid and heavy

Very nice Rob. You and Florence are in our thoughts and prayers, my friend.

I am so glad that you're coping with the new situation in a pretty superior attitude, this - at least - is my impression.

I'm sure you feel much better now, having her back home.

She was here, I had planned on using a lovely Ginger Jar but it proved too small so I found this one online, it took a while to do the engraving. Taking her will in to probate this afternoon.
Chris I am not certain that I am handling it all that well, some days are better than others. The last three words she said to me were - I Love You.
