Ben Carson can go fuck himself. I'm not about to risk my life jumping a shooter for a society that worships gun nuts. Our society doesn't give a shit enough to do anything about the thousands of gun deaths a year, I'm not about to risk my life for them, they don't care. You're examples are obviously not the same thing.

Psychos like this one and your homeboy Dylan Roof are out to kill as many people as possible. In both these situations they are going down the row executing people one by one. If you do nothing, you're fucken dead. If you charge the SOB you're probably still fucken dead but it's a better way to go out. And who knows? You might get lucky.

I agree with the logic - it makes sense. I just do not know what I would do in the situation. I know I have a very, very strong survival instinct - I want to live. I don't know how logically I would be thinking in that situation with the adrenaline and survival instinct on autopilot.
