The Republican led House Benghazi investigation has lasted longer than any other in history. That includes 9/11 and Watergate. I hope Hillary's first words to Gowdey when she testifies are, 'In light of McCarthy's admission, at long last, have you no shame?'

Awwwwww, aren't the wingnutz cute?
My point was, if she didn't drive, wouldn't an e-mail (or four) about speeding tickets raise her suspicions? I know if I was in that position, I would think those e-mails were suspect. What to do then?

I know, brother. I wasn't calling you a wingnut, sorry if it appeared that way. I just thought it funny how these PACs have been hunting the Clintons for over two decades and all they got for their trouble is a blue dress and a cigar.

The Fox news report stated "It is unclear if Clinton clicked on any of the attachments and exposed her account to hackers." That means that they have no proof that she did, and she most likely didn't, but they will use as much innuendo as they can muster to create the impression that she exposed her email to hackers. But your point about her not driving is relevant. How could someone with her obvious intelligence have fallen for such a scam under those circumstances. I wouldn't expect her to. Would you?

Regards,

D-Ray

The more I read about this, it feels like Hillary initiated this email fiasco unwittingly. That's not to hold her harmless. She probably thought it was convenient and legal (sort of) to use her home email server and had her staff handle all the details. The entire setup seems to be amateurish considering that she would be using this for classified information. She probably should have checked with State Department or Justice Department attorneys first since she was planning to run for the POTUS. Now this is biting her in the ass and making her squirm. McCarthy & Co. is loving it and not about to let this one go. It's a lot easier than Benghazi and can keep on dripping to feed the media. She should have come clean at the first opportunity and not deleted any emails. Even if the FBI were toe exonerate her this will still bring up issues regarding her wisdom, honesty and judgement. Thus my sympathies.

She made conscious decisions that led to this mess and the handling thereof. Like it or not, it provides a glimpse of her psyche and management style and I'm not particularly fond of what I see from her. Her Republican adversaries will still be here if she becomes President. It's time to turn the page on all things Clinton.

To my understanding, no classified info was transmitted except what was declared classified after the fact by all the different agencies involved.

The communication channel for classified documents is called SIPRnet for DoD and State. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SIPRNet
