Our attitude with firearms teeters between mystical bullshit and failed state lawlessness in this country. Driving is a privelege, ownership of push button mass murder armaments a right. This is something I have always believed in, answer is treatment and not prohibition, and as long as the liquid variety is legal, let's legalize the solids too. A drug is a drug is a drug, period and alcohol will do. But we still follow the Nancy Reagan solution rather than Betty Ford, though one followed the other.
