Unlike with Benghazi, a story about tragic American death, the email episode has no underlying substance. Experts on both sides of the aisle have said that Clinton violated no federal laws. The entire controversy comes down to the question of whether Clinton did or did not send or receive classified information over her private email account. There was no other issue at stake here. That was the controversy; of course Clinton's slow weasel-like response to the controversy generated more.

Two years after leaving office the State Department requested a record of her emails; she turned over 30,490 messages. The problem, and what fuels the fire, is that Clinton also had erased 31,830 messages from the server, deeming those communications as private.

..................

1) "Any" documents that are related to the job are to be surrendered apon leaving the job. This is theft if you fail to do so, as they belong to the United States Citizens.

2) Documents have been subpoena by congress which has been disregarded by her and the state department. Even after draging their feet, not providing all document, but they said they did.

3) Not once did she or the state department say she did not follow protocol and a private server was setup. It took a outside entity to start finding the truth about a private server.

4) After all this and knowing that she needs to surrendered this server (Documents). Knowing she did not follow protocol, did not adhere to the subpoena by congress she starts to take it apone herself to delet documents.

5) Even at this point knowing that classifid information is on the server and legal obligations she did not follow, held by a company that doesn't have security clearance, she send it to a lawyer again no security clearance.

6) She said that only private emails where deleted which she should have never been the one to determan. Agian a lie as other emails sent by her have been found on other servers incriminating her further.

7) She is being investagated by Congress and the FBI for lie after lie and not following the laws and protacall of her job and subpoenas by congress.

barbara your link to this article is a piss poor attempt by the author to deflect and blame Fox News for reporting the news. All the while calling them a right wing newspaper in his article in a leftwing newspaper that drives an agenda.

I could not hepl but laugh in reading it as he kept pointing to others wrong doings. It reminded me of being 4 years old and mom telling me two wrongs don't make a right, I guess he never leaned that one.

The point was selective outrage. Correct that finding justification in "everyone does it" may be juvenile, but why now if it was a non-issue pteviously? Clinton does herself no favors with her demeanor, but this looks like a selective hatchet job.

Looking back in the thread to post #515 (Yours) it got deflected to
Weiner's wife to get at Hillary in post #516.

But I do understand as I was reading the last few pages drifft off and thinking the same thing. However you can't talk about one without intertwining as your #515 post did.

Steve it wasn't a non issue previously as laws where passed to change what happen. Hillary chose to not follow these new laws put in place, she also chose not to follow direct orders from the White House.

People who cannot spell make poor advocates.

If if filed a document that was rife with misspellings and improper word usage, it would lack credibility with the court. I would not be doing my job as an advocate. This is particularly true when spell-checking software is widely available. When the tools are there to make a better presentation, but they are not used, it creates the impression that what is being said is not worth the effort.

Actually, when one looks at how patently obvious the flaws were in just that one line, one might conclude that the misspelling and improper word choice were intentional and simply meant to irritate.

Regards,

D-Ray

I suggest personal remarks about 427 not be allowed to multiply in our threads.

I further suggest no one comment on this message.
