I seem to recall a lot of talk about so called 'Anchor Babies' from the right. I guess Trump is pandering to those idjits.

So who gets to decide who is a citizen or not if the 14th Amendment is repealed?
Talk about looking into the abyss.

I'll (and most Americans with a brain) will take Hillary's email server over something as idiotic and dangerous as gutting the 14th Amendment.

Citizen qualifications will basically be up to congress, if the constitution is made silent on the matter. There have been proposals for tests, and public service work. I'd expect the tests to work like the old literacy tests for voting.

And public service? Cushy internships for some, bedpans or road gangs for others, and show up late once and you're out.

It'll become like most other countries whereby the child's citizenship is determined by the citizenship of the parents.

Which can be a very subjective criteria.

So the kids of green card holders may not be citizens?

You are smarter than that Finnbow.

I don't want "tiers" of citizens or second class citizens in the USA.
