They hear their uncles, fathers, mothers spout racist nonsense from the time they are born - I think the tide is turning, but it's slow.

Hopefully, some people are rethinking a few things lately - it took nine innocent people getting gunned down, but I hope at least some of the young people who were raised with that crap are saying, "wait - this can't be right - those people weren't hurting anyone and even asked that boy to pray with them."

It is unfortunate that with humanity, real change often takes a disaster to get it started.
