But you are quite happy to accept the minor bloodbaths every month or so?

Not going to say which, but I was in a government building and they smoke in there.. ash tray on desk and tables.

Also saw an old man mailing a package in front of me and the folks behind the desk said not a word to the old guy paying his postage with a lit cigarette in his mouth. But that is not the government building I was referring to that ALLOWS it.

Also to be mentioned, you'll still read things about God in Government buildings here. Read something that surprised me the other day in the new building they set up. It wasn't always there as they just built this one not to long ago, and you'll read about God in there. And if you live here, you'll have to walk in that Government building at least twice a year.

We also have Bible History in public school ( not private, not Christian but public ). And prayers at school games, graduations to and being it's never a local that shouts out about the loudspeaker prayers.. we really don't care how they feel. Oh yeah, we still have paddles that Get Used On Children's Behinds in Public School here. Folks never believe they use paddles these days.. until they move here and nearly faint when they read it on the form you sign explaining it when they register their child for school.

Life differ much where you live?
Actually yes it is, Maryland is reasonably civikized.

Of all of that, I've never gotten this conviction that beating kids on the ass is the most vital and wonderful thing, and anyone who's against it is a weak disgusting fool....

I'm happy to hear that people in your neck of the woods smoke.

In fact I encourage them to smoke more.

Don't blame the honest people for standing up for their right to carry protection. Us honest folks become more at risk everyday thanks to poor parents. Just ask this lady.

Sure because Charm City is everyone's favorite place to hate, but they got the guy who set fire to CVS. And they are slowly getting the looters.

But there is a lot more to Maryland than just the city of Baltimore. I seem to recall lots of rioting going on in several cities down your way and not just one night.

I'm only 46 so I'm not old enough to have seen any riots in TN. In TN, I can't recall any, unless in Memphis but most folks starting a hundred miles east don't claim that place as TN.

I have guns, and I now have two concealed carry permits.

But I'm not the least bit worried about the government taking them away.

It ain't gonna happen.

I don't understand why people get all paranoid about a problem that doesn't exist.

There's no threat to gun rights in this country.

Why don't you get fired up about a real problem, like healthcare?

And I'm not talking about being against Obamacare, which is a baby step in the right direction.

Do you have decent health insurance?

Do you know how you would pay for treatment if you got seriously ill?
