I've had it with Cops.

They're all Thugs.

Every last Goddamned one of them.

The ones that aren't doing the acts themselves are covering for the ones that are, which makes them equally guilty.

Like I said.

Orlando police Officer Peter Delio was arrested in March and charged with felony battery after surveillance video showed him kneeing a handcuffed, Robert Liese, in the gut.

Several hours later Liese underwent emergency surgery to remove his spleen.

What happened between the initial blow to the stomach and the time the paramedics were notified is disturbing, to say the least.

Robert Liese was arrested because of an alleged non-violent crime (unpaid bar tab). He never said or did anything violent or resistive.

Still, what is the world coming to when a cop can't rupture the spleen of a worthless black drunk if he feels like it? Since when does anybody give a shit?

Back in the late 60's I had a couple of good friends on the Chicago PD. One was a vice and narcotics guy, the other a uniform on some special detail. Met them in the Marine Corps. Our time in the Corps together probably made them more open with me than they might have been if we had just been social acquaintances or something like that.

Anyway one day the detective guy started talking about what it was like being a cop. And at one point he admitted that after a while working in the CPD it gets pretty hard not to end up changed regarding relationships with anybody who isn't a cop. I remember him specifically saying something like, "Well sure, when you're on the job long enough, it gets to the point where we're the cops and the rest of you are pretty much fucked up non-cops."

I have a-lot of direct kinfolk that are cops, and I can assure you that none of these I speak of are thugs.

I won't argue that. But there is no question that most cops see the rest of us as "less than."

I had some GI bill credit left after I graduated from college.

So back in the late 70's I took some Police Science courses at the local Jr. College. I actually almost got enough for an AS degree, but the main reason I took them was back then the GI bill paid more than it cost to go to a Jr. College, so it helped me out with my mortgage payment.

Anyway, most of the people in the classes were already in law enforcement.

One of the instructors had been a motorcycle cop in Palm Beach Florida.

But he got run into by a little old lady and that ended his career.

Fortunately for him the little old lady was a heavily insured Palm Beach Millionaire so he got a big assed settlement that enabled him to go to college and become a teacher. He was hilarious in class. I mean this guy could have made big bucks as a stand up comedian. It was like going to a show everytime I went to one of his classes.

But to make a long story even longer I learned a lot about the cop mentality in those classes.

I can still remember distinctly one night he went up to the blackboard and drew this diagram on it that consistent of two circles that didn't overlap.


Then he said, "To Cops, there are only two kinds of people in this world", then he pointed to the circle on the left and said "Police" and then he pointed to the circle on the right and said, "and Non-Police."

If you say so.

But even if they don't act like thugs, chances are they would cover for one of their fellow cops that did. And that makes them thugs in my opinion.

I think it's safe to say that cop participation in "The Blue Wall" is damned close to 100%.

I remember my dad being chief and suspected one of his officers of wrong doing and he called in the TBI to investigate so there would be no bias in his department. Before the public or other officers even heard about it. If that isn't fair then what is? And the officer did lose his job.
