So, you're a Cruz man. Best of luck with that.

There is no luck with that.
Cruz will never get the nomination from the GOP.

She served on the inter-governmental Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States whose responsibility it was to review and approve the deal.

This would be akin to me sitting on a DoD Source Selection Board (which I have many times) while my wife was taking $500K to speak at an annual meeting of one of the companies under consideration by the Board.

I'm having a real hard time understanding why anyone would have difficulty understanding the conflict of interest Hillary and Bill's actions represent. Hell, the administration recognized such potential problems in advance and signed an MOU with Hillary to avoid/report such actions and she failed to comply with this explicit agreement.

I have no sympathy for her position, perhaps because avoidance of such conflicts was drilled into my head annually for about 25 years as a Contracting Officer and a high-level Federal manager. Admittedly, there are grey areas in Federal conflict-of-interest laws, but this isn't remotely close to being a grey area. Even without the specifics of the Russian Uranium issue, having a Secretary of State's spouse and his foundation accepting millions of dollars from foreign governments (whether friendly governments or otherwise) is profoundly wrong.

Oh, if another Democrat, especially a progressive one, gets some traction, I'll drop Hillary like a hot rock!

The right has cried wolf so many times, they'll believe anything nefarious about the Clintons', no matter how tenuous. It's gotten to the point that Hillary could be caught redhanded performing satanic rituals by the light of the full moon, drinking the blood of babies and throwing virgins into a volcano these days and it would still get a giant collective yawn from the voters.

The same argument that Hillary is a shoe was being made back on 06 and 07.
Then someone came up and unexpectedly robbed poor Hillary of her prize, Lol.

Are you really trying to say that donations to CGI are somehow equivalent to campaign contributions or personal income? AFAIK, Bill's half mill speaking fee went directly into CGI's coffers defusing the conflict of interest charge.

What troubles me deeply is how McCutcheon v FEC and Citizens United were decided by the conservative led SCOTUS. Hillary is the only candidate who has come out in favor of constitutional amendment rolling back this Republican wet dream that corporations are people and money is speech.
