Chief Jackson was making $96,000 a year, plus benefits. Jackson gets a full year of severance plus benefits.
The City Manager started off at about $80,000 when he started 4 or 5 years ago, and was pulling down about $125,000 this year. I don't know his severance, but I heard he got one.
The court clerk was fired outright.
The two police officers resigned and supposedly got nothing, but kept their retirement pensions, which could have been exposed if there were a criminal action against them. The sergeant was Wilson's direct supervisor.
The judge was relieved of his duties when the Supreme Court assigned a circuit court judge to preside at the Ferguson Municipal Court. He then "resigned," and has been dismissed from three other courts, and is suspended from a fourth, and the fifth municipality in north county has started scratching their head over what to do. Meanwhile, he still owes the IRS over $170,000 on arrears taxes. The FBI has opened a criminal investigation into the ticket fixing scam, so business as usual for north county.

Ferguson Sergeant Fired For Racist Email Was Darren Wilson's Supervisor
http://crooksandliars.com/2015/03/fe...cist-email-was
Quote:
In 2011, Ferguson Police Sergeant William Mudd thought it would be hilarious to send this email around to his friends from his taxpayer-funded email account while on the taxpayer's dime:
A May 2011 email stated: “An African-American woman in New Orleans was admitted into the hospital for a pregnancy termination. Two weeks later she received a check for $5,000. She phoned the hospital to ask who it was from. The hospital said, ‘Crimestoppers.’”
Mudd was also the sergeant Darren Wilson called right after he shot Michael Brown, and was a key Grand Jury witness in Wilson's defense.
And now, he's fired.

That is pretty good money for such a small city with a lot of poor people. Ever since the corruption in Bell, California was exposed I am suspicious of local government who use the law as a way to increase salaries.

In yet another wonderful and inspired testament to vision, Patricia Potter, RN, MSN, PhD has established an annual full free ride scholarship for a deserving Ferguson School District high school graduate to attend St. Louis University Nursing School.
We continue to see people willing to invest in the future of the kids and young adults of Ferguson. The answer to "How are we going to change things?" is both one step at a time, and by creating a better future for the generations we have not yet lost.

You're the one that said last Dec. 1st that this would be all over in 90 days or less. That deadline has passed.
Would you like to apply for an extension?
If you ask me real nice and catch me in a good mood I might approve one for you.

That's nothing compared to the salaries in LA. Some of the Chiefs of fire and police pull in quarter of a million. In retirement.

It IS over.
The recent shooting of two officers shows precisely why this citizenry has been appropriately policed.

Collective guilt, eh?
No wonder you 'advocated' wholesale slaughter. Just trollery, you tell d-ray, but I think you meant it in your heart, even if you don't admit it to yourself.

The "hands up, don't shoot" meme sure seems to be over. I didn't see it at all in the footage from Ferguson the nights following the cops being shot.
What I'm pretty sure isn't over is the gun play. Gangbangers want dead cops, not injured cops.
Also getting to the point where we might see "off duty" activity by LEOs.
