47 Republican Senators Have Just Committed Treason
Bibi and Dermer's next move.
As far as I'm concerned, the entire Republican caucus of both houses should be impeached for treason and for violating the Logan Act. (I know, "dream on".)

I really think this is Dermer working behind the scenes. It has all the earmarks of an American right wing operative (which is what Dermer still is despite his change of citizenship).
The letter was organized by Tom Cotton, a Tea Party freshman from Arkansas. Perfect pawn for someone like Dermer to manipulate.

Obama should throw that bum out of the country. That should get the GOP's attention.

I disagree.
They should be tried, convicted, and executed for treason.

I am at a loss for words when our Congress tries to do the bidding of a foreign elected official rather than follow the laws of our country and respect and follow the authority of our POTUS. They have become as anti the Constitution of the USA as the Supreme Court is.

Are the self-appointed Constitutional Law experts in the Tea Party up in arms about this violation?

NIxon got away with going to China because he was so anti-Communist; turns out his skin color may have been a factor also.

This level of public disrespect for the President, and willingness starkly repudiate his leadership directly to a foreign power when negotiations of vital issues are ongoing, is a stunning, unprecedented split in our polity. The only thing to compare to it is the secession of the slave states. And the psychology behind it is in many ways similar.
I hesitate to use the T-word, is is so overused. But this is pretty damn close to the spirit of the thing.

Sadly, not true. It's a well established tradition with Republicans.

I hate them.
