Because if you are, you oughta agree that the Harrison Act and every other drug law since was an abomination, since the founders viewed the idea of the government having anything to say about what a citizen decided to put into his or her body as abhorrent.

I agree completely. The feds should do with all drugs as Alaska did many years ago with pot- decriminalize. That's all. No regulation. And that goes for food too. Get rid of the FDA and the school lunch bullshit and the nutrition labeling and all of it.

This I disagree with as this will lead to all sorts of misrepresentation. Example? So called natural remedies and the case in VA (?). No comment on school lunch as I know little about how this is administrated.

Are you referring to the fresh cheese I buy from the farmer down the road for $2/lb or the processed, sodium laden crap the gov has blessed from a huge corporation for $5/lb?

Yeh...really. Even with the government inspections, The Corner Bakery over in Oakbrook tried to kill me and the blonde last fall. I felt like I was detoxing from a heroin habit.
I can see the restaurant business after we get rid of government controls and inspections. It's the "Good Luck Wit Dat Cheeseburger", and the "Take a Chance Texas Chili", "Listeria Lamb Chops", "Garden Salad with Feta and eColi". Yikes.

Ike, you just got done saying the gov should not have shit to say about what we put in our bodies. Now you want them to dictate who can sell you what? Please make up your mind.
We have no restaurant inspections here in beautiful Wasilla, and yet the rate of food poisoning has not skyrocketed. Weird huh?

Are you an idiot in real life or do you just play one here with postings like this.
I decided I could never be a Libertarian when it became obvious that they think that profit driven enterprize would self-regulate for the good of the public and their employees without meaningful oversight or enforceable standards.
Regulation exists because the greedy bullies can't play nice without an incorruptable grownup in the room to make and enforce the rules of behavior. If you can't understand that then you are dangerously delusional.
