So you...just you personally, approve of such training that includes slamming a handcuffed guy to the ground with such severity as to paralyze him from the waist down?

If the alternative is him potentially harming himself and others? Straight to the ground.
It that somehow produces harm via process?
Don't force the process via resisting and you won't even wind up on the ground.

You know thanks to a birth injury I cannot raise my left arm above shoulder height. I hope I never have a cop confront me or I would be a dead man.
