Great show tonight. Arby's offered Jon a job.
In other news Gov. Brownback in Kansas removed job protections from LGBT employees.

Horseshit. It's understandable due to the current state of our political affairs. Stewart is a powerful and on point as ever. Maybe he said he's losing his edge, maybe he didn't, maybe he's bored. Maybe he's the voice required since Colbert rarely did much beyond cheap satire at the expense of guests who as often as not looked miffed by the end of those segments.

Maybe he's just bored with it and wants to move on to something else?

Sounds right to me. But I don't think he's lost a step. Far and away still the best comedic political commentary on the TeeVee. I guess my beef with Colbert was that he was doing political satire, which was funny no doubt.

Actually, as I'm writing this I'm thinking that they are two utterly different formats. Colbert - political/cultural satire, Stewart - comedic political commentary.

Discounting Arab/Israeli issues Aljazeera has some very well written articles.

True that. Just commenting on that article. I do admit that I'm a bit skeptical of them considering it's owned by a king/sheik.

I'm a bit skeptical considering the apologistics coming out of Al Jazeera regarding the recent Paris terrorist activities. Implying that France was asking for it because of something Sarkozy said about Islam three years ago and that the French allow cartoons of the prophet, and that the French knew what the response to the cartoons would be, so it's their own fault. That Al Jazeera?
