Would that your knowledge of interpersonal dynamics matched your skill I logic. In fact I don't do any of the sort in typical argument here. Look at my posts. When...until right now did I ever suggest that there was something wrong with you? That you were operating in some diminished human capacity? When I insist that ISIS is a pack of sub-human slime am I saying anything personally about you? I am not. You are the unprovoked interpersonal perp here Don...not me.

And to suggest that any verbal aggressiveness directed at you this morning is any more abusive than your angry parental shaming shows that you don't have a clue as to the real nature of rage.

Why? I don't believe anyone died and declared you to be God? Such behaviour is rather pompous don't you think?

To declare that the members of ISIS are people or human is truly rather mistaken. As I had noted earlier humanity in my lexicon also requires possession of a conscience and a soul.

You judge and call on us to deal out death to thousands or millions, and accuse me of being pompous and playing God.

No I suggested that we must eradicate ISIS, that there will be collateral death is sadly inevitable. You appear to believe that there is an alternative, although we have yet to hear what that is. Perhaps you might take five minutes away from critiquing everyone else and tell us what that alternative is. There is a line from an Allistair Sym movie thart is running through mi mind just now, Joyce Grenfell was in it also IIRC

No body made ISIS except for the people in ISIS. We among other countries may have created an environment for a movement like ISIS to foster.

OK, I give you credit for now endorsing a more careful policy than carpet-bombing an area the size of Texas, or employing a Trident submarine.

I could advise a plan, say locating the leader reliably, then dropping two airborne divisions on him, thereby killing and capturing him and all with him. I would be silly if I did that, though, because my knowledge of the territory, the enemy, and the capabilities of our own forces is
not nearly deep enough to say if that or any other idea is the best available.

My preference would be for Turkish, Jordanian, Iraqi, etc forces to take the lead, as I said. Nasty and destabilizing as ISIS is, I'm not convinced we should commit heavy ground forces to take the lead in the war against them.

In any case, let's say your neighbor has a dangerous disease, and you call for his house to be dynamited. Do I have to know the proper clinical treatment for the disease to say your suggestion seems excessive?

The movie reference isn't familiar to me, I'm afraid. If you want me to know what I remind you of, you'll have to tell me.

1. He does fine fucking himself.
2. You take too much credit. Americans are such entitled bastards.
3. Why do white men plant grass where it doesn't want to grow?

Lets not say that as it is a rather stupid comparison.

You are aware that Trident class submarines can carry other than nuclear warheads.

I can't recall the title but Joyce was his fiancee and her father was a judge. Allistair was to inherit a fortune but only on condition he manages to spend at least a night in gaol.

Rajoo why is it that people whose views are that each individual is responsible for their station in life also believe that we made them do it?
