Doesn't sound like traction to me...

Sounds like he thinks with his glands. Not the sort of leadership needed.

While I get your meaning, and buy the concept, it's misapplied.
Wilson, with reason, had already identified Brown as dangerous.
You can't let him walk away or be in any situation where that is possible.

FUCK THAT.

More specious arguing from the source.
Nobody is insisting on only "peaceful" arrests of violent suspects Zeke...and if you weren't such an asswipe you wouldn't try to waylay legitimate debate with totally wanker comments like this. What most of us want is the elimination of the use of lethal force where it has only been used because the coppers in question were pissed off and went over the top.
Seven or eight cops exercising a reasonable level of self-control and restraining an unarmed Eric Garner without choking the fucking life out of him until the ninth cop got the zip-tie cuffs on him would not have led to more cop deaths or more Eric Garner death either. Firing five 200 MPH lead shot beanbags into the abdomen of a frail, demented 95 year old did not save any soon to be dead cops. FUCK THAT...indeed.

A bunch of cops walked away from Ferguson without any attempt to halt damage, destruction, arson, and looting as it occurred. Using the above analysis, they all are cowards.

Sure.
They, also, didn't have a situation they could control.
Wilson did.
Win when you can win.

Am I wrong or would this peckerhead be the only one (perhaps even including Darren Wilson) who would consider the killing of another human being as a "win."

If the alternative is being killed?
BIG win.

And run away from your duty when you can't. Serve and protect only if we are not too scared.

Serve and protect where your actions will make any difference whatsoever.
But, yes, officers in New Orleans, for example, were not all virtuous.

Yeh, Danny Pantaleo felt he was in danger of being killed by Eric Garner. Craig Taylor says he was "...in fear for my life...", when he came up against John Wrana and his shoehorn. What an asshole. The tazer malfunctioned...go get another tazer you asshole. Just goes to show ya, some people will say anything to avoid real consequences for what they've done. My commander tells me to put 5 lead shot, 200MPH beanbag rounds into a frail 95 year old guy who can't get across a room without his walker...and I turn around and hand the weapon to my commander. If he wants my badge after that, he can have my badge as well...no badge is worth it. Not that you have the capacity to identify with an actual human response like that, eh Zeke?
Killing another human being is never a win for an actual human being. Maybe for cop apologista like you Zeke. Which puts into serious question your actual humanity. It's why any actual non-sociopathic cop, soldier, or just common or garden human who ends up in a situation where they cost another human their life, will say they will never get over it.
