The one about me as complicit in crime as Johnson when I buy something made in China make me spit out my drink. I could have splashed in my eye. You got double points for that one.

I thought it was pretty good too. Besides...I need to keep up with your persistent idiotically out of context references to Bibi.

None of the rest of it matters to you, Finnbow, but you live in a vacuum of your choosing. The state of Missouri, St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Ferguson, and numerous hundreds of thousands of people directly differ in that opinion, and millions more differ substantially from your thinking.
Millions of dollars are being spent, budgets have been dramatically altered, three commissions have been formed, over $10,000,000 in federal grants are being issued to the St. Louis area for policing changes, training is being revised, and now three different municipalities may be dissolved from one set of lawsuits recently filed.
I am one of the smallest, and most insignificant assholes ever to sit down and ruminate on these matters. There are far more dedicated, smarter, and mor influential assholes than I working their ends, that would have you with an apple in your mouth and a lei of orchids around your capitus, with minimal effort. You don't know the statutes, you don't know the case law, you don't know the testimony, the physical forensic evidence, and nor do you care.
In the meantime, there is even more to come. Happy Kwanzaa!

No, none of it matters in deciding whether Wilson should have been indicted. In fact, none of the extraneous stuff you mentioned would ever find into a court of law - be it whispers of pot use, rumors of KKK affiliation, Wilson's mother's transgressions, his ex-wife hating him and all the other silly shit you've posted..... They may matter in your fevered mind, but they have no bearing on the case whatsoever.

They matter to an HR department, however. They factor into the character of a person, and they provide insight into how a person thinks, behaves, and relates to other people and the world around him.
Zeke would have this guy trotting back into a police uniform at the drop of a hat. I would advance the proposition that it would be time to do some deeper investigation into his background.

Sheltie is 100% balls-on accurate. You are living a narrow restricted reality here, on purpose. You are not even right about what matters in Wilson's case, and Wilson's case at this point is becoming just a small part of it.
Your mission to make us wrong on the Internet is very very insignificant.

And your editing of reality is not even correct on its own terms. You tell us what matters is whether Wilson felt threatened. So is that just a matter of asking him "Did you feel threatened?" and accepting the answer?
Assuming we still have a task to look at what actually happened, and decide if the death of Brown can be properly explained as the result of reactions to a perceived threat, then we have a problem: how can we know what Wilson perceived, and what he actually did? Witness testimony is one of the sources available, and Wilson is of course a primary witness. So, information about Wilson's background, and other factors that may shed light on his character, personality, and motivation, become important in helping us to assess his credibility on key points.

In general, yes.
Hence the lack of indictment.
If such (his potential danger) can be reasonably understood or inferred by a competent adult citizen, Wilson is -- as he should be -- in the clear.
