WTF? I'm not demonizing Johnson. I said that, given his complicity in the crimes at the store (not to mention his willingness to willingly accompany Brown after the crime), that his testimony deserves scrutiny.

Also, I've never called Wilson a hero, and no he was not complicit in the store robbery no matter how much you or Sheltie try to twist it. You obviously have no idea of what complicity means, despite me having posted the definition twice.

And your opinion is why you are not a DA in Missouri or Illinois, Finnbow. A retired justice just indicated you would be laughed out of any Missouri court where the magistrate did not wear all white, if you attempted to charge any first offender as a felon for stealing a pack of Cigarillos and pushed a clerk(rather gently) out of the way.

The line between theft, robbery, stealing, and burglary is a little hazy in Missouri, but it has been codified to cut first time offenders a break. It also considers charges as individual rather than bundled for first timers. Of course, non-lawyers like you and I would not immediately catch that, which is why I asked a lawyer before posting.
