What is really a little comical is your reference to the South as being so bad for blacks. There are some nice farms out here that have been in black families for 100 years. And, some quite wealthy blacks as well as the majority having good jobs, nice houses, kids getting law degrees Etc.

In the meantime the north has been so great with oasis like Detroit, Chicago, etc.

Most in this neighborhood have done well. Better than you I suspect.

I think you identify more with the Detroit bunch, have more in common.

I talked to the man whose son is a lawyer this morning , first time I have seen him in a while. And no, that is not common. I don't know any white people whose kids are lawyers.

Other than "the Hill" where the liberals decided they were going to "help" blacks there is not a bad black neighborhood in this county.

When I drive by houses that are $500,000 plus that are owned by blacks it is not anecdotal. I look at them about every day.

If you had tried a little harder you might live in a better area yourself.
