As for where I started...I was an orphan mick adopted by Jews. A family where my father, who's father died when he was an infant, had a stick that he pretended was a boat and played with it in a Chicago gutter. He told me it was his favorite toy. He took that stick and worked it into his own manufacturing business that employed several hundred people. Those Jews, eh? So don't presume to lecture me about meager beginnings.
