Dave I've always had a good time with blue collar black folks. Back when I was on the floor I usually ended up hanging with them, it's a somewhat unfair generalization but they were usually a bit less, um, flighty? than the younger white guys, you know what I mean? I still knock back some Beam and Busch with a group occasionally.

If you mean more grounded in reality and somewhat more......trustworthy, I guess? Less likely to play workplace politics? Yes. I know exactly what you mean.

So if we have a black punk who steals some cigars and punches a cop, and a stockbroker who steals $10 million on illegal insider training, why can't we read some good stories about how many new prisons and how many more police we need to combat and store the illegal white collar crimes
and con man crimes we have?
After all, we have many, many more financial crimes than we do people burning down Quick Trips. But we have heard all about the rioters ...

if a cop needs to fire 12 shots because he was punched in the face, he should never be a cop

So how do you go about convincing a young black person overcome these feelings, or the feeling of injustice that is prevalent. Just tell them they need to get over it and change?

My point is simply that nobody else is going to fix it for them.

There you go again Finn.
Spouting out right wing talking points.
This time it's the old false equivalency canard of "both sides are equally guilty.
No Finn, it doesn't "go both ways."

Well you and your ilk sure as Hell aren't going to help. All you do is try to undo any good that decent people do.

If I wanted to be kind I'd say it's about half and half with you. But lately it's more like 90% straight out of Fox News.
You really need to work on your cognitive dissonance.
