We undersetimate the power we have by setting a good example. You guys know I've been running. You know this because I yack about it all the time. But the coolest thing, my 13 year old son decided that he'd like to start running to. He's doing a couch to 5k program right now. He keeps telling me how cool it would be if we could run the Denver half marathon together in October. Can you imagine what it would take to keep me from doing that?

That is very cool. It's the reward you get for putting up with hormones, smart-alecky comments, sulking, and all the other fund stuff that goes along with teenage years. It makes it all worthwhile doesn't it.
It's kind of fun now for the boys to come visit and talk about the ways we have influenced them. Pad puns and lefty politics. Thank God they were smart enough to stay away from law school.
