F*ck all the political correctness. Everyone knows fast food makes you fat and killing the clown aint gonna change that.

BTW I think they should bring back Joe Camel.

You'll not get me to make any disparaging remarks about clowns!!!

But Booger King could stand a new mouthpiece.

The day a TV commercial has more influence on where my kids eat than I do is the day I give up on calling myself a parent. As long as they aren't misrepresenting their product in their advertising I don't care what they say. And I don't think there's any problem with taking the kids to McDonalds from time to time. We probably go there two or three times a year when we're on vacation.

We undersetimate the power we have by setting a good example. You guys know I've been running. You know this because I yack about it all the time. But the coolest thing, my 13 year old son decided that he'd like to start running too. He's doing a couch to 5k program right now. He keeps telling me how cool it would be if we could run the Denver half marathon together in October. Can you imagine what it would take to keep me from doing that?

That is very cool. It's the reward you get for putting up with hormones, smart-alecky comments, sulking, and all the other fund stuff that goes along with teenage years. It makes it all worthwhile doesn't it.

It's kind of fun now for the boys to come visit and talk about the ways we have influenced them. Pad puns and lefty politics. Thank God they were smart enough to stay away from law school.

Regards,

D-Ray

Fuck Ronald: I don't care.

But, without Ronald to push burgers, the Hamburglar is out of work.

I can't have that on my conscience.
