Dzhohkar Tsarnaev's buddy Robel Phillipos' case of lying to the authorities has gone to the jury. Which brings up two questions for me, since I'm so confused.
1. Why is it against the law for us to lie to the cops, but not against the law for the cops to lie to us?
2. How can Robel Phillipos be convicted of anything when Joker Tsarnaev hasn't been convicted of doing anything wrong? So if Joker gets acquitted Robel can still be guilty of lying about somebody doing nothing wrong?
PS - Robel Phillipos may be the ugliest guy I've ever seen.
