If you're concerned about your personal safety, standing near a lawyer isn't helping.

Speaking of the OP, any see the update on this? Seems the report that the fellow just got a little ways past the door was misinformation. Actually, he got PAST the SS agent he met there, and got all the way into the East Room before being stopped. This was a drastically serious failure on the part of the Secret Service.

Another example of how hard it is to get government agencies to do their jobs. I'd be tempted to fire the whole current SS, and get some Seals and Delta Force guys in to cover until a new batch could be trained.

Maybe I'm the only one but I think it's a little mountain molehillish? A ss agent had his gun drawn on the guy when he went through the front door and could've shot him. Yes it should be reviewed but next time, shoot?
