Latest Harris Poll Results

Smoke this over for a bit, fresh from the latest Harris Poll.

* 67 percent of Republicans (and 40 percent of Americans overall) believe that Obama is a socialist.
* 57 percent of Republicans (32 percent overall) believe that Obama is a Muslim
* 45 percent of Republicans (25 percent overall) agree with the Birthers in their belief that Obama was "not born in the United States and so is not eligible to be president"
* 38 percent of Republicans (20 percent overall) say that Obama is "doing many of the things that Hitler did"
* 24 percent of Republicans (14 percent overall) say that Obama "may be the Antichrist."

Does this finally demonstrate that the GOP has gone over the edge?

Lets take it ourselves.

No Obama is not a socialist. He is a pragmatist.
No Obama is not a Muslim. He is a pragmatist.
Yes, Obama was born in the United States, but not in one of the original thirteen colonies.
Taking a cue from the last question, Obama is the anti-Hitler.
Obama is not the Antichrist. He is a pragmatist.

Regards,

D-Ray

It's only a poll, that not everyone has seen. Until they go door to door and ask people in person, not missing a single house in this country .. I will not buy into the figures they come up with. There are so many, many, many folks in this country that have never in their life laid a finger on a computer, or know how to turn one on. I run into folks quite often that know nothing about computers and internet and claim they'll never 'change' to fit the world. They say 'change' only effects those who worry about changing with the change and if you don't worry about everything and just live life the way you always have, then life will remain stress-free. Then they spit baccer juice and go on to say how they fixed their farms to remain in the family and can't be sold off and devided into lots after they die .. so their kids & grandkids can live a simple life and say the hell with the ever growing cost of living and need for collage education just to afford rent or an over priced house with neighbors sitting on top of them.

Polls are a joke and the american people are, for the most part, morons.

A real socialist would have taken over the banks, not just lent them money. I wish he was.

The people who believe that Obama is Muslim because his middle name is Hussein, must also believe that anyone names Schwartz is Jewish and anyone name O'Brien is Catholic.

Maybe there are also folks who don't realize that we have fifty states now.

One of the most noticeable things about Hitler was the hate-filled rhetoric. Hmmm, now where is that coming from?

It's been a few years since I read Revelations. I don't remember what the antichrist is supposed to look like, but I doubt it's a skinny guy with big ears.

Regards,

D-Ray
