Saw Buddy Guy last night. The guy has been doing it for a year or two, and has mastered the art of being an entertainer as well as a wicked guitarist.

A fifteen year old guitarist opened for him - Quentin Sullivan. The kid definitely puts out some major guitar licks, but after a while speed guitar seems more like exhibitionism than musicianship. I have to admit that he did a remarkable rendition of Little Wing.

Regards,

D-Ray

A mixture of Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Dire Straits, mellow Wilco and Gilmour-like Floyd guitar. My only dislike is an oblique tint of Steeley Dan sterility, imagined or actually there I cannot tell.

Oh yeah.

I thought this song was a bit silly until it hit the last two minutes when I'd start jumping around like a maniac.
