I understand that they did indeed get the bad guy, but ended up causing a lot of civilian casualties even after Israel was told of the co-ordinates of the school 33 times, the last time just one hour before the deadly strike. This was the third incident of its type where dumb munitions were used to blanket the area around a school that was identified on multiple occasions by the UN as a refugee center. In none of these cases were the schools being used to support offensive operations by Hamas.
Say what you want, but Israel clearly has the technology to avoid such indiscriminate killing and is not serving its own interests by not using it.

You just described a tactical operation against a target of opportunity. It's happened at least three times, indicating that this tactic is part of Israel's overarching strategy.
Say what you want, but I think it's clear that Israel does not perceive what I've termed collateral damage as being indiscriminate. Apparently you are unaware that Israel doesn't care what others perceive as Israel's best interest.
