It will pass and it has to pass. DeMint was right. If the Republicans can kill health care Obama is finished. More importantly, real health care reform is dead for a generation.
This is war now, thanks to the Republicans. The Democrats have to win this fight. It's too bad they took so long to realize this and produced a bill aimed at bipartisan support when none was ever possible.

That post is absolutely ridiculous. You are either terribly uninformed, mentally challenged, or trolling.

Why, thank you! You've just confirmed what I said. This is war and your latest avatar makes you look very much like my enemy.

It takes two to tango, John. No more the Republicans fault than the Democrats.

Anybody watching the debate on CSPAN? If I hear one more sob story about someone with cancer from the dibs, I'm gonna lose my dinner. Last hope is the motion to recommit.

If I see one more teabagger who has no clue that he could very easily be in the same position as the 20,000,000 Americans who have no health insurance (through no fault of their own) or have no idea that they could so easily be bankrupted because of a healthcare system that is adversarial I will lose my temper. Last hope is that these teabaggers will realize that these things do not always happen to the other guy and that they are ignorant pawns of the wealth greedy right.
Now what?

The bill that the House is now voting on incorporates over 200 amendments offered by the Republicans. Will it get a single Republican vote? Not a freakin' chance.
The bill will pass without the Republican support those amendments were designed to earn. The Democrat's mistake was in incorporating changes that worsened the bill in the hope of achieving bipartisanship.

AND IF THESE TEAbaggers realized the real price of healthcare if they had to pay it themselves and not in a group most this "screw the unfortunate" crap would go away.
Teabaggers are folks who can't see the forest through the trees and use self reliance as an ego massaging tool to self mask greed.
