Not only is the delay suspicious, but also, why is it only on right wing websites so far?

You know if I wanted to out in front and set the narrative in my favor I guess it would make sense to leak it first to outlets that would be favorable to me.

I don't buy that. You have an entire community agitated believing that an unarmed teenager was shot in the back. While a teenager, officer was dealing with an aggressive individual who was imposing in size and may have ripped off a convenience store. So you neutralize the negative flow of information. Just a picture would have done it. As to protecting the officer's identity, hogwash. They would have had to release this anyway (sunshine law?).

There WAS a picture, of the assailant robbing a convenience store. Didn't seem to change the narrative.

Which is why you neutralize the flow by not HAVING a flow.

As for releasing the officer's information, you do it on YOUR terms, not the mob's.

With all due respect, citizens became a mob when they felt they were getting stonewalled and/or they were acting out based on the disinformation/misinformation that was spreading within their community. You can quote all the SOP till you are blue in the face but once in a while need to take a peek at the outside world. Control is seldom absolute.
