I sure would if you were in Madrid trying to find the main post office. When we were there there was a screw-up in our hotel reservations. When I told the clerk that they had better find us a room as I was sure there were laws regarding sleeping on park benches. He agreed that one would be ready in a half hour so we went for a stroll around the block. Unfortunately this "block" had high brick walls and guys with Sten guns at every gate. By the time we had passed the same guys four times we were getting this fishy eyed stare. I asked the clerk at the hotel who lived there, he said Generalissimo Franco. Oops! The clerk was about the only English speaking person we saw the whole stay.
