I can already tell you what the verdict will be...
"The department has concluded it's internal investigation and has concluded the shooting was justified and that the officer acted properly"
That's the only verdict that will be issued and is how it's always been. They will protect their own.

Not with the FBI and Justice involved. At this point, there may well be a 50% chance that the shooting was indeed justified and appropriate. You and I just don't know.
What's interesting is how people become vested in the results of the investigation coming out in a fashion that confirms their preconceived notion of what happened and will scream conspiracy if it doesn't. I'm quite comfortable waiting.
