IMHO, the reason she connects with some people is because she doesn't come across like a Harvard educated mouthpiece with a cheat sheet written by others. A little bit of honesty goes a long way in today's political climate.

And I, for one, will take a little honesty over a stuffed shirt lying sack of shit any day.

I really can't figure out why there appears to be such hatred for the woman. BOY!! I am suprised. I would understand why an El Gordo woman had envy for Palin...she remains married to a hunk of a man who loves her...beautiful children...good looks and popularity among REGULAR people. Some women of low esteem collect scalps of women like Palin...but as women...we're used to seeing this and can figure it out.
In my opinion...the graduates of pristeen colleges are driving us to ruin.

She will return...in another capacity. Remember where you heard that.

Could be that she was placed in front of many families for the first time and her values were at odds with theirs.
Some folks do not think it is good to get knocked up at 44, have a high school kid getting married instead of finishing high school, have no regard for her or her daughters baby instead choosing fame, having a daughter get a GED, taking six years to get a BS in communication in 3 states in 5 schools, not be able to answer any questions that did not concern a small town, has no interest in acquiring knowledge, believes in witches, bases history on Hollywood movies, plays family feud in the national press with an 18 year old, thinks that giving informative thought through answers to questions from the national press is irrelevant, that everyone who has views different than theirs is arrogant or elitist and never taking responsibility for ones own actions.

In other words to many she represents a lowering of the standards that they have set for themselves and their children, for no good reason.
