Does everyone remember Whells "The Surge" thread when he thought Romney was going to win after his post-debate rise in the polls (first Presidential debate) with Obama?

lol

barring a downturn in the economy Hillary will most likely win because women will vote for her. Even Republican women.

It's not just women. If she runs, she'll win because she's the most popular political figure in the country, and she has been for some time now. Although as I'm writing this, I'm thinking that may also be due to the overwhelming positive support she gets from American women.

But if it makes you feel better to continue to perpetuate the myth, have at it Finn.
The problem with strawmen, in this case, is if you purchased a bale of hay from many Republicans, took it home, and shook it, a bunch of Republican racists would fall out. Granted, not all of them are card carrying KKK members, but they can check many or all the boxes that differentiate people....

They want neighborhood schools
They want a smaller federal government, with spending cuts targeting school lunch programs, Head Start, food stamps, welfare, Obamacare, and social support programs
They love guns, guns, guns
They love prisons, prisons, prisons
They hate unions, as that is the sole cause of our economy's demiseThey love dictating, but hate being dictated to
Any government funding that benefits them is good and well deserved, any that doesn't is bad government.

OK Pete...you don't like the "R" word. I won't use the "R" word then. I don't think I've every used the "R" word in any accusations directed at conservatives or Republicans. That said...all the point made by Sheltiedave remain legitimate and are typical of con/GOP sentiments on those issues. So I'll suggest that it's discriminatory toward various segments of the growing pluralistic culture in this country that cons and Republicans seem to have such a difficult time with.

Those things are a pattern of attitude and a matter of record amongst Republicans. Denying it won't change it.

Your next tangential joke is anticipated in 5...4...3...2...

Even black folks in Cleveland were sick of their kids being on the bus for 2 hours each way when there was a school down the street.

Once there was no intentional discrimination it becomes meaningless.

And if I don't think the next bit of society should be run by the government, I'm whatever equivalent of racist we're using whatever code word for? Let's bankrupt something else. The dems here have done SO WELL for the minorities they 'represent'.

And, it's OK for white dems to call black righties Uncle Tom. Think about it.

Better? I don't joke for diversion, I joke to try to lighten the mood.

Read it again. He didn't say all of your fellow travelers were racist fucks but there's no denying that y'all have welcomed all those Dixiecrats in and now they've metastisized into the 'bagger wing of the Repugnant party. Good luck seating a 'pubbie in the Oval Office while the 'baggers keep buggering the GOP at every turn.

Sound harsh? Tough shitsky because it's true.

If a black conservative is a tom he oughta be pinned as a tom.

PS - it's not just white dems using that terminology, and you know it.
