I would say more because unions are not as strong here as in New York and the East Coast in general. I know an x-ray tech from New York City who has been here two years and is thinking about going back because she cannot find a full-time position with benefits. Out here the mantra is to get by with less workers so as to preserve the bottom line. I am sure the wave will crash upon your shores soon enough.
