If you're referring to prosecutions for their own military responses to terrorist acts, of course they haven't and I'd be pretty aggravated if they had. Hamas has been hiding behind women and children from the beginning. Hamas wants dead civilians, specifically wants dead women and children. Hamas is happy as pigs in shit when the women and children they're hiding behind are killed in Israeli military responses to their terrorism. Its a basic piece of their strategy.

Israel has prosecuted plenty of criminal attacks by Jews on Muslims. Palestinian authorities for criminal terrorist act by Muslims against Jews? Not one that I'm aware of.

Hey Mike, I'm on my way up. I'm moving in and setting up my own government in your house. You and your family can have your bedroom closet and that's it. You must present papers to come and go, because I don't want "your kind" stinking up my space. Now, don't get angry and go acting up, 'cuz then I have to consider you a terrorist and toss a grenade into your room. I can do this with a clear conscience, because "God" chose me to assume the dominant role and blessed me with your beautiful home.

Dave
Of course not. But then again, I wouldn't have been building tunnels into your home, or launching rockets at you, or sending my kids into your house to blow themselves up, telling you that you don't have the right to exists, or tell the world that I'm going to kill you and then do everything I can do to follow through on it.

And there's Hanan Ashrawi being interviewed this morning telling the world no matter what that the rocket attacks and military action will continue no matter what. Lovely.

So what has changed since this post? (Post #5)

No, because in this story, there's only one house. The Palestinians initially were confined to one bedroom, and now they're down to a closet.

The Palestinians on the West Bank have a far greater clue about Israel's true intentions than you do. Bibi and his conservative/reactionary coalition have no desire for peace if it will interfere in any way with their stated long-term goal of consolidating their hold on Judea and Samaria (i.e., the West Bank). Their long-term plan envisions complete control over the West Bank with the Palestinians ensconced behind 30' concrete walls surrounding several urban enclaves. He depends upon the reflexive support from some Americans (such as you) to realize this dream (in addition to the ignorance of the American people (such as Whell) of what's actually going on over there).

It isn't just plain ignorance.

It's willful ignorance.

Quote:
Willful ignorance is the state and practice of ignoring any sensory input that appears to contradict one’s inner model of reality. At heart, it is almost certainly driven by confirmation bias.

It differs from the standard definition of “ignorance“ — which just means that one is unaware of something — in that willfully ignorant people are fully aware of facts, resources and sources, but refuse to acknowledge them. Indeed, calling someone "ignorant" shouldn’t really be a pejorative, but intentional and willful ignorance is an entirely different matter.

What's frightening is that a considerable amount of American conservative support for Israel is based upon their biblical view of the rapture.

I know.

And a lot of it is coming out of these crazy assed Southern Fundamentalist Churches who 50 years ago had at least half of their membership in the Jew hating Klan.

I can remember back when I was a kid and most all the rednecks hated Jews.

Now they love them.

At least the ones in Israel.

You got it. Just think, Pat. This is what costs us how much, every year?

And it's based on religious beliefs that I find silly. So, if Hobby Lobby can refuse to pay into Obamacare because of their religious beliefs, I want my money back for this goofy BS (IMO). I shouldn't have to pay into this because someone else wants to keep the portal open for their messiah.
