Yes but the "fear" is still a powerful argument for separation, in addition to the fact that suicide bombing is still used by Muslims else where.

They are a culture now, and part of a larger culture. There are some who would say, however, that the term "Palestinian" has become more of a reference to a political movement than to a "culture".
