Which Is Worse - Government or Corporate Bureaucracy?

Pick your poison.

http://truth-out.org/opinion/item/24...te-bureaucracy

Quote:
Libertarians have been saying for a long, long time that if we just get rid of government, everything will run a whole lot better.

But if you get rid of government, corporations step in to fill the gap left by government.

And the truth is, corporate bureaucracy, the kind of bureaucracy people have to deal with every day when they try to do something as simple as pay their credit card bill is just as bad - or even worse - than any government bureaucracy.

No shit. Try to straighten out a billing question or cancelling service with Comcast.

At least the government does not try to get rid of the pensions.

And at least we have the illusion of being able to vote the bastards out if we don't like the way things are being done.

Try telling that to City of Stockton employees.... Things are still in litigation, but it doesn't look good for them.

Sorry Barbara.....

I project from the Federal Level. At least Stockton was accidental? I mean no one forsaw the decline of their tax base...

AT&T and FedEx are two of the worst companies that I have had to deal with.
Dealing with government agencies may be slow and deliberate, but there will be a resolution. With large corporations the only ending is an NFW.

Might have been accidental.... But, in my opinion, it was just stupidity.

Doesn't affect me.... I'm not a city employee.
