If she does run, she will run on her own platform and won't expect, nor probably receive ant backing from Obama. I am pretty sure if she were younger she would put it off till 2020 or 2024 just to distance herself from him. However, if she has the desire to become president, she probably needs to do it in 2016.

I would be very surprised if Liz actually puts up more than a token run for the nomination thus dragging the Dems back to the left a bit. She's young and her time in the Oval office will come after Hills.
