More and more whispers among my leftie friends about Obama. But hey, at least he's better than Bush. Isn't that damning with faint praise?

Pete
Y'know Pete...there's more to it than that. Back during the '08 primaries I was telling anybody who would listen that Obama was no reformer...nobody was much interested. Not even you right wingers because my basis didn't include Rev. Wright or Bill Ayers as part of my analysis. So there were whispers then, and whispers when he began backing down and trying to negotiate with the GOP when you knew they were just going to fuck him and not even give him the courtesy of a reach around. When he didn't have us out of Iraq when he said he would we were whispering. He's still got us in Afghanistan, we're still whispering. He wouldn't stop the feds from busting legal medical marijuana vendors and cancer patients...more whispering. There wasn't a single bankster indicted by the DOJ...even more whispering.

So pete...the more and more whispering is nothing new. (As opposed to you guys sucking George Bush's ass no matter what abominable shit he pulled for 8 years.)

But there's more to it because it doesn't matter which vote whore from which party is in the office, pete. The only thing that matters to a lot of us is the despicable base that the GOP runs on year after year...particularly the social issues. So we're whispering about Obama, and we'll be whispering about Hillary or whoever we get next time...but they won't be sticking their noses into women's reproductive organs...they won't be trying to shut down embryonic stem cell research...they won't be trying to have Genesis taught in public school science class...they won't be fighting gay adoption...they won't be pandering to teabagger idiots...the list goes on and on. I won't be voting for any Republican politician until something changes drastically with the GOP.

Whispering about disappointments in Obama means pretty much nothing to me.

And I'll tell ya what. With all the pissing and moaning about Cruz, Rubio, Vitter, Coburn, Graham, Hatch and Coryn...the worst of them, the absolute most despicably worst of them all in my book is Kelly Ayotte.

Just absolutely disgusting two-faced doubletalk bullshit.

You're saying the left hasn't 'sucked Obama's ass' for 8 years? Agreed, it hasn't been 8 years yet.

Maybe you though truthfully.

And to say well at least the left says nice things makes it better?

No idea which newspapers you read or news programs but the so called liberal media has been less than kind.

What a crapload. Just look at the bastardized version of the ACA we wound up with because of all those blue dogs in congress.

What is really cool is every potential Republican candidate is a joke. And no Rand Paul will not run because he will not have the courage to leave his Senate seat.

The Billings Gazette!

Oh My!

I guess we'll have to subtract Montana's 3 electoral votes from Obama's total and award them to Romney.

Oh, wait.........

They go on to list some of the Obama gang's screw ups, then conclude with:

These are all signs — none of them definitive on their own, necessarily. However, when taken in completely, these demonstrate a disturbing trend of incompetence and failure. It's not just that Americans are in a sour mood about national politics. That's probably part of it. Instead, Obama has become another in a line of presidents long on rhetoric and hopelessly short on action.

Obama's hope and change have left liberals and conservatives alike hoping for real change, not just more lofty rhetoric.
