Primary purpose of a religion is to brainwash it's followers, and they have "the book" for reference. Of course no one really knows who wrote the book.

The Temples are closed facilities for practices Mormons consider sacred for members in good standing and not an entry point for membership or a general gathering place for fellowship and worship. The Ward houses and Stake houses and Tabernacles serve as gathering places and places of introduction and worship.

There is a fundamental reason why woman is seen as the subordinate in most religion.

She is the one which carries the child and therefore there is overwhelming effort made to ensure certainty of parenthood.

Gee do you suppose that is why God gave them hymens.

There are only two ways to guarantee parenthood;

A twenty four hour watch.

Find an honest woman who loves you and treat her right.

I guess those old patriarchs just suffered from an inferiority complex. Well the truth is it was not a complex, they were inferior.
