Like I should expect a response to a legit question from whell, eh?

A long time ago I decided that attack campaigning is really on the hands of the stupid, gullible, intellectually lazy-ass Joe and Mary Sixpack electorate, for whom it's too much fucking trouble to spend 5 minutes to learn something about the actual workings of government, investigate the motives and behaviors of the people they put in office, election after election, or make themselves aware of some actual issues. Of course not...Rev. Wright, Billy Ayers, and birth certificates are so much less trouble.

After all the persistent pissing and moaning about the government, after all the "throw all the bums out" bleating...America is getting exactly the government it deserves.

This is a very well written article on this overall subject, American governance.

Employers love it, a desperate and susceptible workforce.

Is that in the latest issue? It just came yesterday and I have not had a chance to read it yet.

I agree with you Ike, but your examples left out hope and change The electorates' thickness is bipartisan.

It's always been true. Dig up some old attack ads and articles back in the early days, vicious.

Hope and change? Really? You sound like a wide-eyed Obama supporter back in '08. There's no hope and change. I only have a party I support because of the disgusting list of shit that is the continuing basis of what the other party stands for.
