OK. Here's a report from Monday evening's hearing published in Tuesday's print edition.

The faux scandal outrage is all to apparent to all but FOX new junkies. Needing another fix of anti enlightenment hate filled garbage.
Lost e mails really, they have found most by back tracking to the other end of conversations. Besides I want the IRS to investigate any who try for Tax exemption. But I guess Liberal, Progressive or Aid organizations are OK but just try and look into a right leaning one is where the problem arises?
http://www.nytimes.com/2013/07/05/us...ewanted=1&_r=0
""Two months of investigation by Congress and the I.R.S. has produced new documents that have clouded much of the controversy’s narrative. In the more complicated picture now emerging, many organizations other than conservative groups were singled out: “progressive” organizations, medical marijuana purveyors, organizations formed to carry out President Obama’s health care law, and open source software developers who create software tools for computer code writers and distribute them free of charge. ""
""“As soon as you say the words ‘open source,’ like other organizations that use ‘Tea Party’ or ‘Occupy,’ it gets you red-flagged,” said Luis Villa, a lawyer and a member of the board of directors of the Open Source Initiative. The I.R.S. feared that such groups were really moneymaking enterprises. ""

The point is that there are politically driven idiots breaking the law everywhere in government. Now we've found some at the IRS. So fine, let's go root them out. All of them. And we think there's prison overcrowding because we're busting people smoking the herb.
The point is...the right is trying to sell that Obama ordered it. Which is why it's a bullshit story as well.

Your OP makes no specific differentiation between printed and digital media when you make your case for the WAPO being a propaganda rag, dip shit. So fucking what if it's on the web and not on the printed media, dip shit.
What in the world would we do for entertainment if sniveling whiners like you ever stopped ragging about the media?

Anyway, the most interesting thing for me in the article is the demographics. That FOX is the news base for right-wing geezers. It all makes sense in light of the fact that the GOP has lost 5 of the last 6 presidential popular votes. The demographics of the electorate has shifted. There are more and more younger voters who aren't buying the GOP's theocratic bullshit. There are still plenty of backwater cabbageville US House districts where the majority are FOX NEWS addicts. There are still backwater cabbageville states that will continue to elect Rubio's and Cruz's to the US Senate. But when it's an election where it's the whole country, the new demographics are showing up, pretty much every time. As long as the GOP continues to pander to moronic teabag populists, and as long as their platform is hostile to workers, women, minorities, gays/lesbians, the financially disadvantaged, and anybody who is sick to their stomach over our sick democratized gun carnage culture ...the GOP is likely to be fucked in competition for the Oval Office.
Right wingers can scream and holler all they like about Benghazi and about all of Obama's "illegal activities." It ain't gonna matter a shit in Dick Cheney's hat when people go into the voting booth in 2016 and are standing there thinking about which candidate from which party is gonna be more likely to represent what they want this country to be all about.

What's amazing is that Rush and Fox have convinced these folks that they're mainstream.

That's because nobody cares, Dan.
I'm not much of a religious man, but I think the Bible puts it best;
"Thou dost protest too much."
Meaning; If all you do is bitch, accuse, fearmonger and blame, after a while-----people just stop listening.
