Check out this list and note who's zero:

Hey, Belarus not on list! Very suspicious--might be another zero....
Seriously, another reason to questions America's claim to be a 1st world nation.

I'd be willing to bet Belarus has a government mandated minimum yearly vacation and healthcare for everybody including paid maternity leave.

So? It doesn't fit the Rights utopian vision of a return to 19th century industrial feudalism.

Almost all companies already give it. What we need another law?

Ignorance is bliss if you keep it to yourself. Try and read these,
http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/23/yo...anted=all&_r=0
and
http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014...ama-thinks-so/
Warning: Second one's caption says "Obama thinks so"

"And yet only about half of all first-time moms in the United States are able to take any paid leave after childbirth; and just a fifth of working women with young children receive leave with full pay, according to a review of the most recent Census data by the Washington, DC–based advocacy group National Partnership for Women & Families. Nor is the situation getting better. A Families and Work Institute report found only 16 percent of the companies it surveyed offered fully paid maternity leave in 2008, down from 27 percent in 1998." http://www.workingmother.com/best-co...aternity-leave
"According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, only 11 percent of all private industry workers have access to paid family leave (16 percent of state and local government employees have access to some paid family leave; federal workers don’t get any, though all employees may be able to use accrued sick leave). Well-paid people who work in managerial or professional occupations at companies with 100 employees or more are the most likely to have the benefit, according to the Institute for Women’s Policy Research." http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/23/yo...pagewanted=all
Doesn't even come close to "most." Even further from "almost all."
