The fact that Glenn Beck even has a radio audience and has books published is indicative of how Americans will listen to nonsense.

Who needs a fairness doctrine? We have "fair and balanced" broadcasting.

Actually, there have been attempts to revive it, but the efforts have never gone anywhere. Bush #1 threatened veto to stop discussion back in the early 90's. A couple other more recent attempts have been made, but since it is conservatively viewed as a first amendment limitation, don't plan on seeing it in any form while there is a GOP controlled house (unless, of course, it is temporarily instated by presidential order).

Anti abortion militants are advocating for giving promulgating lies some sort of legally protected status under the 1st Amendment, a fairly good indicator of the Conservative Right regard for "truthiness" and factual information.
Also on that end, opinion is treated as equivalent to factual truth and proudly loudly touted thus. I remember William B. Fuckley being a practitioner, so it started with the founding of the modern Conservative (bowel?) movement. That there's a direct connection to Excrement in Fraudcasting.

Ijiots. They have a perfectly good clause for that in the 5th Amendment. "No person shall be ... deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law." (emphasis added)

All they have to do is get fertilized eggs recognized as persons.

Here's a good tool to help winnow the chaff from the wheat.

Wiseacre answer . The wheat does not stick to the wall like so much of the shit that conservative media throws up into the air these days. The chaff blows away into the day old baloney fed flatulent wind.
