It was, for the kid in Santa Rosa.
Quote:
A total of eight rounds were fired, according to a statement put out Thursday by Santa Rosa Police Lt. Paul Henry, whose department is investigating the death. Seven hit the boy, and two were deemed fatal: One to the chest and the second to the hip. Other bullet wounds were found on his right wrist, left bicep, right forearm, right buttocks and hip.
Deputies said they thought the replica rifle Andy Lopez was carrying in an open field Tuesday afternoon was an AK-47 assault rifle. The officers said they pulled over, took cover and ordered the boy to "put the gun down." One of the deputies told investigators he believed the boy was going to shoot at him or his partner so he fired several rounds.
3:14:15 - Dispatch creates report of suspicious person walking near Moorland and West Robles avenues.
3:14:19:- Deputies call for emergency asistance.
3:14:25 - Deputies notifiy dispatch that shots have been fired.

Is that better or worse than an unarmed teen walking to the corner market to buy some snacks only to get murdered once he got 100 ft. from home?
Gotta protect them rights, yessir.

It would have been some pretty involved photoshopping to make the kid's hair look so real in the shot where he is holding the gun. Not so hard to photoshop the light sabre in, when it is put in front of his hair. It's also a pretty strange grip on the toy. And how did the kid get his hands on a real light sabre anyway.

Do you have something to add or you just going to post pic's of babes and make disparaging remarks about Wayne Lapierre?
"Oh, isn't he cute?" as a matter of fact, he is

Whatcho been smokin' bro? See the white outline below the kid's hands and around the black tip of the light sabre? Shit, I can do a better job of photo re touching using Microsoft Paint.
