Grasping at threads DJ. Does another Clinton presidency scare you that much?

This type of comment would never be heard if she was a male candidate.
You misinterpret Barbara. It has nothing to do with her looks. And yes it was exactly the same with McCain. Isn't there a point where you must feel your old enough to stop subjecting yourself to the political bull crap? The stress of that job is enough to send you to an early grave. With a grandchild coming and no more political liability would someone really want to jump back into that septic tank we call american politics.

McCain is 77.
Biden is 71.
Romney is 67.

All of them older than Hilary.

I think they are all grandparents.

I don't see those same concerns for the men. You don't think the men might benefit from retiring, enjoying grandchildren and less stress?

The way you worded your initial post did, indeed, imply that the toll taken on her appearance should/would be a consideration.

Having said that, if she does choose not to run for president, I would respect that choice too.

But, after watching her town hall meeting the other day, I'd say this book tour is a campaign kick off.

So a Hillary presidency will be using gender as a crutch like Obama's uses race. It's the last answer to every criticism of them.

There are better candidates out there then Clinton and she I'm sure knows that too. But it doesn't matter when the right will put up a panel of buffoons like last election.

According to Hilary, (and you can take that with a grain of salt&#128527 at the town hall meeting, she purposely rejected the use of her gender to secure votes.

Aside from the whole Hilary thing, I think the time is ripe for a female president.

Hilary certainly has the knowledge and smarts to be the one.

As qualified as I think she is, I wouldn't mind seeing some new blood in the mix.

Particularly when charges of racism & gender discrimination are true...
You're not siding with the Robert's court opinion that racism is dead, are you?

Bob, I'm not sure what other woman out there would have a chance at this point. I imagine if the dems run Hilary, the republicans will have to find a female or other minority to run, if not for president, as a Vice President.

Perhaps someday we will have a president with a name like Rosa Garcia and she will even have a birth certificate 😉
