Your party and your president RAN on drawing down forces in Iraq, and speeding up the timetable for the Iraqi Army to take over, based on a timetable that was crafted not based on the security situation in Iraq but based on political considerations. Well, here's the result. You've got contractors doing soldiers work because having military personnel over there would make a liar out of the CIC: he needs to be able to advertise that he "brought the troops home". And the contractors got ditched by an Iraqi Army that was either unable, unwilling, or both, to stay at their posts.

Civilian contractors are worthless pieces of shit parasites that should have never been there in the first place. Privatization of functions that should be done by the military is a Republican wet dream as a way of funneling hundreds of billions of dollars of taxpayer money into the coffers of politically connected war profiteers. The fact that Obama has continued this travesty does not endear him to me one bit.

With the events unfolding right now were they not to be expected? Less the US of A is willing to put boots on the ground for a hundred years and billions no trillions of out tax dollars to stabilize the situation then shut the fk up and let it settle itself. For a draft would need to be imposed and your great grand kids will be severing and dying assuredly.

Deafening the silence and outrage over the lies that got this whole mess started now is it not?

The contractors are in trouble and I feel everything is being done that can be done. Heaven and earth is being moved to save them, we here are just out of the loop. Even in this day and age there is danger and those working over there knew the risks.


On a side note FOX must be fanning the flames tonight. My brother N Law has been hung up on by me at least five times. Screaming in the phone about this and how we should just nuke um!

This is a guy who just tonight informed me that only Democrats when in charge leave a country that then is overtaken by the other side in the conflict. Reminded him of Vietnam and he informed me it must of been a Democratically controlled congress.

He is a good guy that I have known since 1969. My wife wonders why I even talk politics with him and my sister. He was just drinking at home alone watching Fox and all fired up. His son's last day as a Marine was Thursday, you would think this alone would be a sobering event. Making one think action by us need not be done.

But I don't see the outrage, really what about in 1975 the fall of Saigon. Like this has never happened before. Bush the younger created this mess and no matter how long the US was on the ground this would happen once we left. Let them kill each other and then we can deal with the survivors. Or not, let China or Russia spend their money and young.

I just wounder if the oil companies are behind the push for action on our part. Last thing they want is a stop to their profits!
