I think white people and black/brown people have different understandings of racism.

And, I don't mean for that to sound racist... But, as a middle age, white female my life experiences have never allowed me to feel what it must be like as a young black male who is suspect because he is walking home in the rain with a bag of skittles.

Well, uh.... I might be an exception to that since I work in such a high crime area 😉

There are safety precautions I take daily just to walk from where I park my car to the building I work in. But, I don't think others are particularly suspect of me in my middle class, working attire as they are of the young, black male wearing a hoodie.

I live very near the South Norfolk and Campostella areas of Hampton Roads, Virginia. Our crime rate here is (officially) nearly six times the national average.

But, I have never had a problem.

You heard this on black radio? Implying that he would suffer if forced to have only white players. That sounds rather racist to me, in the same vein as Jimmy the Greek saying blacks are superior athletes. Of course it's obviously true, you just can't say why you think it's so.
